Gandy Seafood Cajun Market Murfreesboro: Fresh Seafood Delivered Weekly

We bought 3 clusters of snow crab clusters along with some Zatarain's crab boil seasoning. The gentleman who helped us gave us specific direction on the best way to cook them. We followed his instructions, and the crabs we cooked turned out perfect! They were the best crab legs that I have ever bought here in land locked TN. I believe they said the seafood is delivered directly from the coast (weekly or biweekly?) to this store. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves fresh and delicious seafood! They also have a wide variety of fish and other shellfish to choose from. They also have a second location in Hermitage, TN, which I'm sure is just as good.

Visiting from Texas and wanted to make my family some gumbo. Went to Gandy to get some blue crab. They sell by the dozen and were a little pricey but I wanted to do something for my family. He brought one out for me to look at. One good thing, they were fresh because the one he showed me was alive and was a pretty good size, so I decided to purchase and asked to have them cleaned. When I got to my family’s house, they were the smallest blue crabs I have ever seen. Looked as if they gave me all the smallest of the batch and charged $45 for them. Again, I am from Texas where you can get a pound for $10-$12. Very disappointed.

These were the Best Rockefeller Oysters .I have been looking for some good oysters in Murfreesboro i have found the place. Will most definitely be returning customer service was a 10 also.

This is by far the best seafood market in Murfreesboro. They go out of their way to get special orders, and they bend over backwards to make sure you're happy. These guys go out of their way to make sure their customers are happy. And I've never seen a seafood market be so open and transparent with communicating availability and potential delivery issues. We live in a landlocked state and these guys still go out of their way to make sure we have fresh seafood. To the "Davids"- landlocked means no oceans touch our state. FRESH sea food needs to be brought to us, and as rational adults know, things happen. Availability is always a variable. I'm going to go there today and buy more catfish and some Reds. And if they're out of Reds, or they don't have as many as I want, I'm not going to whine about it in a review. Best seafood joint in town!

Bubba Gandy's is THE place for seafood in the Boro, whether you are cooking it or letting them cook it for you! Their boils and shrimp and grits are phenomenal. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed.

The customer service and quality here is top notch. I have always bought all my local fresh seafood here, but it is now my new go to spot for Crawfish as well. Thanks for having Crawfish last weekend when the other guy in town decided to use the weather as an excuse so he didn’t have to open!

We used Gandy Seafood to prepare food for our Employee Appreciation, Fun Day yesterday. We requested a shrimp boil and it was amazing! The flavor was on point with the perfect amount of heat. Ben is easy to work with, he threw some bread in with our order, his prices are fair and his food is fantastic! Wish we'd taken a photo prior to chow time! Give him a shout and enjoy a delicious dinner today!

Great visit picking up multiple king cakes and chocolate doberge cake, which were awesome. Some nice cajun specialties and will be returning. Helpful staff and nice experience
